The importance of English can’t be described in words. It is an international language. We need English for our higher education. All books on higher education are written in English. These books help us to acquire knowledge. Besides the knowledge of modern science and technology is available in English. Today more than 80% of all the information in the world’s computers is in English. So if we do not know English, we will not be able to keep pace with the present world. Today organizations need employers who can speak and write a standard form of English. So it helps to get a good job and to earn more money. Moreover, to communicate with foreign countries and to run foreign business, English is essential. From this, we can say that we need to learn English for the progress of our individual as well as our national life.
